Ultimately, it is our goal to get African-Americans to the mission fields of the world.  In fact, it is our vision to see the mission fields of the world flooded with African-Americans.  Therefore, this year we are launching a new ministry emphasis that will replace our annual conference, “The Good News Vacation.”

A Good News Vacation is an invitation for a family to join GCGM and its partners in reaching out to a specific country or people group and to do so by utilizing the family’s vacation time.

We have designed the schedule to include vacation thrills and ministry adventures.  The aim is to utilize peoples’ existing skills, gifts and abilities on the mission field, in a short-term experience, that will introduce them to the needs of lost people while mobilizing them for missions.  These trips will be open to individuals, families, organizations and churches.  Research shows that people who participate in short term mission trips are more likely to give, go and support mission endeavors.
