| What is
her ministry? |
|
My ministry
is to promote missions mobilization in the African American Church through
training, networking, short-term trips, and advocating for the support of
indigenous missionaries.
Mobilization occurs in the
US, with short-term trips to Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Togo.
|
| How did
they become
missionaries? |
In 1989 the
Lord spoke to me and told me that whereas the first part of my life had been
spent in the inner city, He was changing the focus of ministry for me. He
told me to prepare myself for world missions and that he was going to use me
as a liaison between the African American community and the nations of the
world. In 1993 I completed my Master’s in Missions through Regent University,
and in 1995 began working for the Association of International Mission
Services as the Strategic Action Center Coordinator for Sub Saharan Africa.
In 1998, I started AOF Missions, Inc.

What challenges is she facing
in her work? |
The growth
of the ministry is going well. The biggest thing I am facing right now is
trying to get permanent office space and part-time secretarial help.
